Daytona's motorcycle calendar has two distinct rally seasons: Bike Week in spring and Biketoberfest in autumn. The Speedway's races are part of that wider picture, alongside activities and scenic rides around Volusia County. Rally dates, individual race listings and championship round numbers each tell a different part of the story.
Two Rallies, Different Calendars
Bike Week and Biketoberfest share Daytona Beach, but they are separate events with separate edition numbers. The spring rally reaches its 86th edition in 2027; the autumn rally reaches its 34th in 2026. Those counts describe the individual rallies, not the number of years of a single combined festival.
The length differs as well: ten days for the listed spring event and four for the autumn event. A rally-wide date range establishes the span of the gathering. It does not, by itself, assign a starting time or a race date to every activity within it. Reading the rally listing alongside the individual event information keeps those different scales clear.
Bike Week at 85 and 86
The 85th Bike Week ran from February 27 to March 8, 2026. The Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau's spring rally listing gives March 5–14, 2027 for the 86th edition, a ten-day event. The two date ranges show why the year matters as much as the rally name.
The bureau describes activities along Main Street to Midtown, Scenic A1A Highway and the Ormond Beach Scenic Loop, with the celebration also extending to Daytona International Speedway and locations throughout Volusia County. Its Speedway race listing includes Supercross, flat-track racing and the Daytona 200. The rally is therefore broader than any one competition: the race program and the rides are related parts of the gathering, rather than alternate names for the same event.
Supercross at the Speedway
At Daytona's 2026 championship round, Eli Tomac recorded his eighth Supercross victory at the Speedway. NBC Sports' Daytona results identify the event as Round 8. The win total counts Tomac's Daytona victories; the round number places that particular event within the season.
The 2027 championship schedule report places Daytona at Round 9 of 17. It also says Daytona's track map will be revealed later. A published round number is therefore useful information even when the course map is still to come.
The visitors bureau calls the 2027 race the 57th annual Daytona Supercross and describes it as the longest continuous Supercross event in America. That annual count concerns the Daytona event's sequence, while Round 9 concerns its position in one championship season.
Biketoberfest in October
The bureau's Biketoberfest listing sets the 34th edition for October 15–18, 2026. The four-day rally includes live music, motorcycle shows, racing at Daytona International Speedway and scenic rides. The same listing records the February 27–March 8 dates for the 85th spring Bike Week.
Biketoberfest activities take place at venues and businesses across cities in Volusia County and beyond. Its official welcome center is trackside at the Speedway, with visitor guides among the materials available. The center is one point within a dispersed rally, rather than a boundary containing all its activities.
Riding the Coast
The spring listing highlights Scenic A1A Highway and the Ormond Beach Scenic Loop; the autumn listing also points to A1A, Main Street and the Scenic Loop. These route names provide another way to read the rally beyond the competition results: the gathering includes rides through the area as well as time at the Speedway.
Ponce Inlet Lighthouse is another destination in the spring listing. The bureau identifies it as Florida's tallest lighthouse and a National Historic Landmark, with 360-degree views of the Atlantic Ocean. Nearby Lighthouse Point Park appears in the same account. These coastal stops give the rally a different setting from the track, while remaining part of the visitor bureau's description of Bike Week.
